Kieran James: Hi, mate. Thanks very much for agree to do interview with our website These are the questions:

Nanda: Okay, we’re happy to answer your questions.

KJ: First tell us the band history, like when you start and who are the members?

Nanda: [We] started from Nanda (Drummer) and Dwi “Ndut” (Guitarist I) who wanted to work in the music underground. Nanda & Ndut [had] intention of making the band. Then Ndut also suggested his brother John as a vocalist, “Tenge” our friend as the guitarist II, and Bayu as bassist in December 2010. Nanda had proposed the name RAIN OF BLOOD and patented the name. Our music is influenced [by] metalcore. In music [of] metalcore we’re uniting lyrics [and] death-metal element [so] that our genre is Metal/ Metalcore/ Death Metal...In May 2011 Tenge and Bayu resigned. Then Tenge [was] replaced by Riyan “Chepot” Guitarist II, but [he] soon resigned [as well]. Arya replaced Bayu [as] bassist. Soon Budi also resigned because [he was] busy, Nanda recruit Ismail to replace Budi as Guitarist II [at] the end of July 2011. Personnel today are: John (vocals), Ndut (guitar I), Ismail (guitar II), Arya (bass), and Nanda (drums).

KJ: What cities have you played shows?

Nanda: We’re promoting our band in the city of Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. In February [2011] we played in Kebumen, Central Java, Indonesia.

KJ: How is progress for your demo or album?

Nanda: We plan to launch the album Destroy Your Life, Melt Your Dream in 2012.

KJ: Why you like to play death-metal?

Nanda: We play metal music from the musical into metalcore, [with] the death-metal nuance, but not deathcore. [We like to say] that our genre is: Metal/ Metalcore/ Death Metal.

KJ: How to describe your style and what bands do you like?

Nanda: Our style [is similar to] the band UNDERGROUND. Bands we like of course [include] local bands such as BURGERKILL [Bandung, West Java, Indonesia], AS I LAY DYING [San Diego, California, USA], and all metal bands in the world.

KJ: I know Bandung is huge Death Metal City with JASAD and BLEEDING CORPSE and TURBIDITY and JIHAD and many great bands. What is the scene like in your city of Bogor, West Java?

Nanda: In the city of Bogor [there] are a lot of great metal bands [and] not only [in the] genre [of] death-metal. There are also many rock bands from Black Metal, Metalcore, Grindcore, etc.

KJ: What are your goals and plans for the band?

Nanda: [Our goal is to] become a dangerous and respected band in the world!!!

KJ: What jobs do you have outside of metal?

Nanda: [In the band there are] five of us, with four students and one worker.
KJ: Are there any problems playing metal shows in your city for example police problem?

Nanda: Sometimes [yes and] sometimes no. [It] depends on the licensing as agreed by the authorities with [the] Event Organizer.
